# Papaya Pay — Every payment method, built in

> Papaya Pay: card, PromptPay QR, e-wallets, bank transfer and BNPL accepted on the phone, the EDC terminal and online — with one ledger, automatic reconciliation, payouts and advanced split payments.

Offline at the counter on an EDC card terminal, online through mobile ordering, or on a server's phone at the table — card, PromptPay QR, e-wallets, bank transfer and buy-now-pay-later. Every channel flows into the same order on the POS, and one ledger reconciles every baht and settles to your account automatically.

## More ways to pay than any bank terminal.

A bank's EDC takes cards and, if you're lucky, one QR. Papaya's terminal takes every method your guests reach for — cards, contactless, PromptPay QR, e-wallets and buy-now-pay-later — on one free, cordless device a server can carry straight to the table.

## One system, so the money is always right.

A bank terminal sits beside your POS — you key every amount in twice and match the slips by hand at close. Papaya's terminal runs on the same system as your POS, so each charge is tied to its order the moment it's taken: no errors, no double work, no fraud, and reconciliation that's already done.

- No errors
- No double work
- No fraud
- Easy reconciliation

## Taking payments in two days, not two months.

No bank queue, no weeks-long terminal application, no paperwork limbo. Sign up and you're approved and taking real payments on a free Papaya terminal within two days.

- Weeks of waiting
- Live in two days

## Customers shouldn't have to wait to pay.

Running back and forth with the bill and the card machine isn't service — that's just admin. When guests are ready to leave, they just want to be out the door, and the faster they can settle up, the sooner the table is free for the next group. Let them scan, split and pay from their own phone, and you turn tables faster without a server tied to the checkout.

- **Turn tables faster** — every minute saved at checkout is a minute the table can earn again.
- **Guests split it themselves** — by item, evenly or a custom amount, each in their own method, with no server untangling the bill.
- **No app to download** — scan the QR on the bill and pay in the browser, no queue at the till.

## However they want to pay, you can take it.

A tourist taps a Visa. A regular scans PromptPay. A student splits the bill on Atome. Papaya Pay accepts all of them through the same checkout — on a server's phone, the EDC terminal, or your online ordering page — and lands every one in the same place.

- **Cards** — Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay, contactless & chip
- **PromptPay QR** — dynamic, per-bill QR with instant confirmation
- **E-wallets** — TrueMoney, ShopeePay, Rabbit LINE Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay
- **Bank transfer & BNPL** — direct transfer plus Atome instalments

## Real terminals, grouped the way you work.

Plug in a physical EDC at the counter, hand a roaming one to the floor, and organise them into terminal groups by station or outlet. Each takes cards, contactless and PromptPay, prints its own receipt, and reports into the same ledger as every other channel.

- **Terminal groups** — assign devices to a station, floor or outlet.
- **Pay-at-table handhelds** — carry the terminal to the guest, not the guest to the till.
- **Free EDC in Thailand** — Thailand plans include a terminal at no extra cost.

## Every payment tied to its order, then settled to your account.

However a bill is paid — card, QR, a wallet, or a few of them at once — each charge is matched back to the order the moment it clears, so reconciliation is already done before you close. Then the day's takings are batched and settled straight to your bank account, with no manual matching and no midnight spreadsheet.

- Matched to the order
- Reconciled for you
- Settled to your account
- No fraud

## Good to know.

**What are the fees, and how does reconciliation work?**

Pricing is a simple per-transaction rate that varies by method — QR and bank transfer are cheapest, cards a little more. The reconciliation engine checks each charge's status with the provider, settles what cleared, retries what's pending, and shows you net-of-fees per payout cycle so there's never a midnight spreadsheet.

**Do I need a separate card terminal?**

No. You can take cards, contactless and PromptPay on a server's phone with no extra device. If you want a physical EDC for the counter or pay-at-table, you can add one — and Thailand plans include a free EDC terminal.

**Is it secure? What about 3D Secure?**

Card payments run through 3D Secure with the issuer, card data is tokenised and never touches your devices, and processing is handled by PCI-compliant providers like OPN/Omise and Xendit. Fraud checks run on every charge before it settles.

**When do payouts reach my bank?**

Transactions are batched and settled on a schedule — typically next business day to your linked account, with the exact timing per method shown in payout analytics. Multi-outlet and partner accounts each settle on their own cycle.
